THE CHICAGO REFUGEE COALITION

LABMUC V is proud to announce our partnership with the Chicago Refugee Coalition, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing relief services for refugees in the Chicagoland area. Established in 2018, the Chicago Refugee Coalition is committed to compassionate poverty relief and community empowerment, striving to alleviate human suffering in all its forms.

10% of LABMUNC V's proceeds will go directly towards the Chicago Refugee Coalition. By partnering with a medium-sized nonprofit organization, our team hopes that the collective contributions of LABMUNC’s delegates, staff, and advisors can make a tangible impact on real lives. Donations raised from this year's conference will help expand the Chicago Refugee Coalitions capacity to help families seeking relief services in the Chicagoland area. 

Since August 2018, the Chicago Refugee Coalition has distributed over 65,000 meals to the refugee community in Rogers Park. They partner with numerous organizations to assist with matters such as housing, mental health, and legal services. Additionally, the CRC raises funds to supplement, or fully cover, the cost of these services to ensure that our refugees are getting high quality assistance with minimal financial impact.
