Approximate Size: TBD Single - Del C40 is a network of city governments working together to drive climate action across the world's major urban centers. This committee confronts the growing displacement driven by extreme heat and strained transportation systems within cities, as urban leaders grapple with keeping residents safe while their cities transform under mounting climate pressure. Delegates must weigh public safety, infrastructure investment, and equitable mobility to face the unpredictable climate crises that continue to threaten cities.

LETTER FROM THE CHAIR
Dear Delegates,
My name is Anik Bhattacharjee, and I am a sophomore at Lab. I'm so excited to be chairing C40! I have participated in MUN since 7th grade. In general, I love music and traveling. During the summer, I enjoy reading, biking, rock climbing, and playing video games with friends. The fact of the matter is that MUN is a difficult and demanding activity, and by choosing to be here, you have already demonstrated rigor and character. I recognize that committee can be tiring, and I want to reward delegates who persevere through challenges. I value growth and resilience, and I do not believe an early setback should define your performance. More than anything, I want to see how you remain poised under pressure, and value the overall contributions of each delegate throughout the entirety of the committee. See you in December!
