In this committee, we will discuss the global issue of Sustainable Agriculture. As urbanization continues to increase within nations internationally, maintaining and progressing current agricultural systems is of the utmost importance. We will delve into challenges surrounding the accessibility of agriculture mechanization, current sustainability practices, corporate and government accountability, food security, and its social and economic effects on rural communities.

Dear Delegates,
My name is Ilana Schopin, and I am so excited to be chairing LABMUNC this year! I am currently a sophomore at Lab, and have been a part of LABMUN for the past two years. This activity has taught me so much, from leadership skills and collaboration to public speaking. However, above all else, the memories and experiences I have gained from being apart of this team are incredibly valuable to me. Outside of MUN, I play both high school and club volleyball. I love spending time with my friends, babysitting, and volunteering! This year, I will be chairing the FAO, and I look forward to seeing creative solutions and effective collaboration! With an emphasis on diplomacy, I am confident that all participants can gain a lot from this activity, both in LABMUNC and the rest of their careers as MUN delegates. I look forward to seeing everyone this December!
