Dear Delegates, 

Hi! My name is Eddie Skolarus, I’m a Junior at Lab, and I'm very excited to be chairing the Mexican side of the Pastry War JCC this year at LabMUNC! This is my third year in MUN at Lab, and I’m one of our Under-Secretary Generals of Crisis. MUN has taught me so many skills throughout high school: public speaking, negotiation, collaboration, and I hope you all are able to develop and practice these same skills in this committee! Outside of MUN, I run track and cross country, I'm part of an organization that tours families around our school, and I love to spend time with friends going downtown or playing sports. In this committee, I hope to create a collaborative and dynamic environment where every delegate can find their place and learn something new. See you all in December! 

My name is Sarah Jane (SJ) Jackson, and I am a sophomore here at the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools. While I have enjoyed participating in Model UN for over a year, I also play tennis, do theater, and am on the Renaissance Literary Board. Among my interests I enjoy studying art history: analyzing modern and contemporary art (specifically contemporary performance), and further developing an initiative I cofounded to help students critically evaluate creative works. I sincerely hope this committee provides you with valuable skills that you will carry with you as you grow as a delegate, and I look forward to seeing what you will bring to the backroom.
