Dear Delegates, 

Hi everyone! My name is Debbie Lu, and I am so excited to be chairing the French side of the Pastry War JCC this year! I am currently a Junior at Lab and am one of the current Under-Secretaries of Crisis, I have been competing on the Crisis side of Model UN since my freshman year, and I plan to continue through the rest of high school. Outside of MUN, I love cooking and baking as well as traveling with my friends and family. I am really excited to chair this committee because i love that it combines serious international tensions with one of the most unusual causes of war in history. In this committee, I hope to see lots of collaboration, creative crisis arcs, as well as JPDs working through both sides of the JCC! I hope you all are just as exited as I am for this committee and I will see you all there!

My name is Rebecca Wang and I'm a sophomore who's been in Model UN since my freshman year. Outside of MUN I often volunteer at food pantries, play sports such as volleyball in my free-time, and I have a strong interest in law, justice, and anything art related. For this committee I hope to see strong and creative crisis arcs that show your creativity and understanding of the topic and character. I encourage all of you to take risks and explore ideas and possibilities in the backroom. I hope you use this as an opportunity to grow as a delegate.
