Dear Delegates, 

My name is Miles Westneat, I'm a Junior here at Lab School, and I'm delighted to be your chair for the How to Train your Dragon! I've been doing MUN for a little over two years now and I absolutely love this activity. Some of my personal interests are history, strategy games, rock climbing, and vexillology to name a few. I hope to see thorough directives, thoughtful collaboration, frequent participation, and above all else, everyone having a good time. Best of luck to all of you!

Hello! My name is Claire Dong, and I’m a sophomore here at Lab. This is my second year in Model UN. I find that this activity perfectly blends creativity with hands-on-skills, making it one of the best activities for those willing to take initiative and push for their own ideas. Outside of MUN, I enjoy playing flute, bookbinding, scientific drawing, and creating art. I am part of our school’s art board for our arts and literary magazine, and I co-lead a student organization targeted to bringing Art History knowledge to students in our Chicago community. I’m extremely passionate about a variety of topics within arts, humanities, and stem, and I truly believe that those willing to explore ideas and perspectives will be the ones that excel in and out of committee. Stay collaborative, passionate, and willing to support those around you!
